The following is a partial list of dogs entered in our foster care. All dogs are vaccinated for Parvo, Distemper, and Rabies. All of our dogs are wormed, and put on flea and heartworm preventative. All dogs are spayed or neutered. All of our dogs are in homes where they are exposed to other pets and family members. They have been evaluated for behavior and temperament problems. Most have been taught age appropriate manners.
Our adoption fee is $175-$225. (due before the dog leaves his current foster home). This helps offset the cost of vetting and care. CURS depends solely on the revenues from adoption fees, surrender fees and donations to provide the necessities for our dogs & puppies. All donations are tax deductible.
Click on a dog's name to be sent to their "page" where you can see pictures & read a personal entry about him. If you are interested in a particular dog to adopt but have questions, please contact us. We will put you in touch with your dog's foster family making it possible for you to ask them any questions you may have. Once you've made the decision to adopt, you will be required to fill out an adoption application. For your convenience an on-line adoption application is available. Simply select the Adoption Application button. If you would prefer to manually fill out an application & fax or mail it later we have a Print Application option. Your application will be reviewed as quickly as possible. After a home visit and upon approval, arrangements will be made for you to pick up your new family member.
Some ground transportation is available. Airline transportation is the responsibility of the adopter. If you have any questions regarding transportation, or need help arranging transport contact our transport coordinator.

Please Remember
1) My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be painful for me. Remember that before you buy/adopt me. 2) Give me time to understand what it is that you want from me. 3) Place your trust in me - it is crucial to my well-being. 4) Do not be angry with me for long, I won't remember why you're mad. 5) You have your work, your entertainment and your friends. I only have you. 6) Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't understand your words, I understand your voice when you are speaking to me. 7) Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it. 8) Remember before you hit me that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones in your hand but I choose not to bite you. 9) Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinate or lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food or I've been out in the sun too long, or my heart is growing old and weak. 10) Take care of me when I get old. You too will grow old. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say "I can't bear to do this" or "let it happen in my absence." Everything is easier for me of you are there. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT I LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY! - Author Unknown
